Nice-Boards editorial policy and publishing standards

Our publication standard is built around useful main content, clear authorship, original effort, honest limits, and a controlled release process.

Our publishing promise

Every page needs a purpose

We publish a page only when it solves a distinct problem. A strong page contains a working tool, an original framework, a useful comparison, a worked example, or a clear mix of these. We do not create location, keyword, or title variants that repeat the same substance.

What we do not publish

We withhold pages created mainly to capture search traffic. This includes spun or scraped copy, near-duplicate keyword variants, doorway pages, hidden search text, unrelated third-party sections, fake reviews, invented experience, and tools that do not deliver the result they promise.

What we check before release

CheckRequired result
IntentThe title, H1, introduction, and main content answer the same need.
DepthA standard guide contains a complete method, a practical example, and page-specific help.
OriginalityThe page adds a distinct decision aid, comparison, calculation, or tool.
ConnectionsContextual links connect the page to its topic, related guides, and relevant tool.
AccuracyClaims are limited to what the page can support, and outside facts use trustworthy sources.

Depth is not word count alone

Our imported-article release gate requires at least 900 useful body words, while the first-party guide collection has a higher rendered standard. Length remains only a floor. A long page still fails when it repeats itself, uses thin sections, mismatches its title, or lacks a practical example, comparison, method, test, or decision aid. Topic hubs must provide an original learning path and connect related guides to a working tool.

Similarity is checked

Automated checks flag pages that reuse too much of another guide. Weak pages are improved or withheld instead of being published as keyword variants.

Titles, headings, and links must agree

The title and H1 use the same primary topic and intent. Headings explain the next part of the answer. Link text describes the destination directly. Our guide library uses contextual links inside useful sentences rather than wrapping whole cards in unclear anchors.

Authorship and automation

Articles are attributed to Nice-Boards Editorial unless a real contributor is identified. We do not fabricate people, credentials, first-hand tests, or reviews. Automation can support drafts, technical checks, imports, and formatting, but it does not excuse thin or unverified work.

Docs Library checks and pacing

Incoming articles are scoped to nice-boards.com, stripped of duplicate H1 elements, checked for an existing slug, and scheduled no closer than three days apart. Automated release gates withhold articles that are thin, near-duplicate, off-topic, weakly structured, overloaded with links, or contain generation artifacts. External links received through the import are marked nofollow so an upstream placement cannot pass ranking credit. The importer fails closed on an identity mismatch and marks an article posted only after its database transaction succeeds.

Editorial responsibility stays with Nice-Boards

Passing an automated check does not prove that an article is accurate or original. Nice-Boards remains responsible for the published page. A correction request can identify a factual problem, an unattributed source, a rights concern, or content that does not meet this policy.

Sources, image rights, and corrections

Guides distinguish inspiration from assets licensed for final use. We encourage visitors to preserve source links and create original or properly licensed final work. A material correction updates the content update date when the page displays one. Dates are not changed only to look fresh.
